International, familiar, versatile: Forge your exciting career with us.
Since our founding in 1949 as a small "spin-off" from the University of Göttingen, we now work as an international publishing group with a passion to support the daily work and communication of the scientific community in the fields of psychology, medicine, nursing, and health sciences.
At the core of our work is the international exchange of ideas, its innovation, and creative problem-solving. That's why, more than 75 years later, we publish books, journals, and test procedures in 16 countries and up to 23 languages, while fostering a working atmosphere characterized by close personal interaction, diversity, cultural variety, and practical thinking.
In addition to our headquarters in Germany, the publishing group is active in 15 other countries and employs around 500 people worldwide. Our company offers attractive career opportunities in publishing and logistics, diverse possibilities for qualified psychologists, new challenges in web development and marketing, the ERP project team, and much more. Tech specialists can find exciting tasks in our 2023 newly established subsidiary Hogrefe Digital Solutions focused on the development of the Hogrefe Testsystem, a web platform for comprehensive psychological online assessments that is developed entirely in-house.

In addition, the internal program is complemented by a company flat rate for the webinars of the Digital Publishing Report, which will introduce you to current and future topics in the field of publishing.
Hogrefe offers a wide range of sporting activities for you. Whether it's Zumba, Pilates classes, dancing, or boxing - we believe it is important to provide you with a physical outlet from the workday and strengthen teamwork within the company.
In addition, the internal Sport & Health Committee regularly organises cooking events and health days for all employees. We are also represented with various company teams at regional sporting events, for example, the Tour d'Energie or the annual race through the historical city center of Göttingen.
