As the 2022 conference season approaches, we are thankful that hybrid events where we can both work with each other online and speak to each other in-person are becoming more common.
In line with our aim and philosophy of being part of the scientific community we also try to get out and about, attending conferences and meetings, visiting, and talking with authors, editors, other publishing partners, and customers, sometimes giving scientific presentations. Hogrefe will be attending a variety of hybrid and in-person events where you will be able to meet and talk to Hogrefe people (and see our publications) this summer:
- The 10th European Conference on Positive Psychology in Reykjavik, Iceland, June 30 – July 2. Check the scientific program to see when Hogrefe author Ryan Niemiec is an invited speaker and visit our booth to chat to us about his book Character Strengths Interventions as well as other titles that we offer.
- The 17th European Congress of Psychology in Ljubljana, Slovenia, July 5-8, where Hogrefe is a Gold sponsor. Come visit our booth where we will offer discounts on our books, to find out more about our collection of resources in psychology including assessments that are truly a gold standard – and listen to presentations by Hogrefe authors and researchers on the Intelligence and Development Scales – Second Edition (IDS-2), the dark Triad of Personality (TOP), and the new digitalization of the SON-R, a widely-used non-verbal test of intelligence.
- The International Society of the Rorschach Centenary Congress in Geneva, Switzerland, July 11-15. Come chat with us at the Hogrefe booth to learn more about the newly translated and annotated 100th anniversary edition of Hermann Rorschach’s Psychodiagnostics – and a special anniversary set with the plates.
- The American Psychological Association Annual Convention in Minneapolis, MN, USA, August 4-7. Visit our booth (booth number 812) to find out more about new books and psychometric tests, including new releases in our popular Advances in Psychotherapy book series, and browse our poster session on the IDS-2 and executive functioning.
