Hogrefe Publishing is extremely grateful for all the dedicated reviewers who provide expert evaluations of the manuscript submissions to Hogrefe journals. Their contributions improve the papers we publish and are integral to the publication process.
Every year thousands of psychologists, psychiatrists, researchers, and clinicians work to advance their field of study by volunteering their time to review manuscripts submitted to Hogrefe journals. Not nearly enough is done to reward reviewers for their work. In an effort to support reviewers and handling editors, Hogrefe Publishing collaborates with the Web of Science Reviewer Recognition Service™ to provide the acknowledgement these stakeholders deserve for their endeavors.
Web of Science Reviewer Recognition Service enables contributors to track, verify, and showcase their work for promotion and use in funding applications. Luckily, it is nearly effortless due to the seamless integration into Hogrefe journals’ peer review and online submission systems. In each journal’s Editorial Manager® system, reviewers and handling editors can opt-in to have their reviews automatically added to their Web of Science Researcher Profile.
The Web of Science Reviewer Recognition Service gives recognition for peer review without compromising reviewer anonymity or infringing upon publication ethics standards. By default, the content of the review will not be publicly displayed, and only the journal title and the number of completed reviews will be shown on reviewer profiles. Reviewers receive credit for completed reviews even if the manuscript is never published.
Users may edit what is displayed for any review or opt out of the service at any time.
