#14 From science to practice
Researchers are invited to compete for a prize for the best idea in the field of psychological testing.
If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research
Hogrefe is primarily a scientific publisher. We place a high value on the scientific basis of the products we publish. Not only on theoretical background, but also reliability and validity, which should be substantiated by scientific research. At the same time, we put great effort into making certain our instruments connect to the needs of daily practice.
Based on these ideals, the Dutch Hogrefe team announces a science prize in 2024. Describe in 500 to 1,000 words your research, idea or project in the field of psychological test development and send it to advies@hogrefe.nl by 1 September 2024 with the subject 'Science prize submission'. A jury will determine the winner who will receive the prize during a festive meeting taking place in autumn 2024.
We hope to have found another way to support scientific research, while simultaneously celebrating our 75-year anniversary in a special way. And should this prize result in a meaningful new publication, well of course that would be even better!
