#28 Strong and happy children
With beautifully illustrated books, Hogrefe supports children and young people as well as their guardians.
It all began in 2016 with ‘Phil the Frog’, a picture book for children with ADHD. The idea was to support children with psychological problems by offering helpful advice through the medium of lovely, illustrated stories. This first book eventually led to the ‘Psychological Children's Books’ series. The first five volumes were published in 2018, and there are now 28 books covering a wide range of psychological problems. In addition to the story, each book contains exercises for affected children and further information for those around them.
Today a colorful variety of picture books for children and young people have been published. An example is one of our bestsellers, ‘Lotte, are you dreaming again’ by the authors Stefanie Rietzler and Fabian Grolimund. It is a story sympathizing with daydreamy children. First translations in other languages are now available.
