The Dutch Symbol Digit Modalities Test (SDMT) detects cognitive impairment in less than five minutes. The SDMT involves a simple substitution task. Using a reference key, the test taker has 90 seconds to pair specific numbers with given geometric figures. The SDMT instructions are available in Dutch only.
The Dutch SDMT is protected by copyright. In case of interest for use in research, please send an e-mail to advies@hogrefe.nl containing the following information:
- Name of the researcher
- Name of the company, research institute or university
- Planned period of the assessments
- Planned number of assessments
- Name, e-mail, and postal address of the person to whom the invoice may be sent.
Based on the information above a proposal for the required fee will be made.
