The history of our publishing company started with a young man and his enthusiasm for psychology. He founded a publishing company primarily to provide a communication platform for psychologists, which started with our first journal (1949), followed by our first book (1952), and then our first psychological assessment (1953). These events formed the foundation for today’s Hogrefe Publishing Group.
