Customer Support Executive

Reporting to: Head of Finance & Operations

​​​​​​​Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide first line customer service and support for orders and enquires by phone and email, ensuring customer needs are met quickly and efficiently.
  • Set up customers on Hogrefe’s Microsoft Business Central 365 purchasing system and ensure test user qualifications are in order.
  • Set up customers on the Hogrefe Test System (HTS) when required for online test administration; provide instructions for use and training when necessary.
  • Create product/training quotes and obtain payments for non-credit customers.
  • Ensure purchase orders received are correct and liaise with ordering organisation if corrections required.
  • Enter orders on BC 365 system, pick, pack and despatch orders for physical products.
  • Create accurate sales invoices.

The Customer Support Executive role is part of a small Finance & Operations Team and will be expected to work collaboratively and closely both within the team and with Sales & Marketing and Publishing colleagues.

Person Specification

  • Experience working with customers and using a CMS (customer ordering/management system).
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone with customers and to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Experience working with online technology platforms is preferred.
  • Ability to work accurately and with attention to detail.
  • As part of a small company, must have a “can-do” attitude and be willing to throw themselves in to whatever needs to be done.
