This three-day course offers thorough and comprehensive training in all aspects of the Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R). On completion of the course, together with the associated pre-course assignments, delegates will be equipped to administer and code the ADI-R to the level of Clinical Reliability.

This is an interactive course so please activate your camera when you join the Zoom. Upon successful competition of the course, delegates will receive a certificate of attendance. Upon successful completion of the post-course work, delegates will receive a certificate of clinical reliability for the ADI-R – valid in the UK only.
Patricia is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and has more than 25 years experience in working with children/adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders. She was actively involved and responsible for the development, standardisation and reliability study of the Autism Diagnostic Interview (ADI).
Dr Hannah Hayward is a neurodevelopmental specialist in independent practice with over twenty years of experience in the field of autism spectrum and related conditions. In 2003, she started working with the National Autistic Society as an Outreach Community Worker before moving into applied research at The University of Oxford. While working at the IoPPN (Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neuroscience), she worked on multiple studies involving complex, multimodal, in-depth clinical assessments of children, adolescents, and adults. In her current practice, she conducts diagnostic assessments across multiple NHS Trusts, the Criminal Justice System, and private pathways and offer psychoeducation and post-diagnostic support to individuals and their families. She also delivers training on gold-standard diagnostic tools and workshops around improving understanding of neurodivergence across public and private sectors, including HMPS.
