This three-day course offers thorough and comprehensive training in all aspects of the Autism Diagnostic Interview - Revised (ADI-R). On completion of the course, together with the associated pre-course assignments, delegates will be equipped to administer and code the Autism Diagnostic Interview (ADI-R) to the level of Clinical Reliability.

Patricia Rios & Emma Woodhouse
Patricia is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and has more than 25 years’ experience in working with children/adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders. She was actively involved and responsible for the development, standardisation and reliability study of the Autism Diagnostic Interview (ADI).
Emma is a Neurodevelopmental Specialist and an experienced, international trainer and supervisor in the ADOS-2 and the Autism Diagnostic Interview- Revised (ADI-R). Emma was previously based at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (King’s College London), the Maudsley Autism & ADHD Assessment Service, the National Autism Unit (Bethlem Royal Hospital) and the Anna Freud National Centre for Children & Families. Emma has extensive experience in both clinical and research settings, and specialises in working with forensic populations.
Patricia Rios & Jack Hollingdale
Patricia is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and has more than 25 years’ experience in working with children/adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders. She was actively involved and responsible for the development, standardisation and reliability study of the Autism Diagnostic Interview (ADI).
Dr Jack Hollingdale is a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist previously based at the Service for Complex Autism & Associated Neurodevelopmental Disorder (SCAAND) team at the Michael Rutter Centre, Maudsley Hospital. After completing an MSc in Clinical Forensic Psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience he gained a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University College London. Jack has expertise in autism, ADHD and co-occurring mental health conditions. He has extensive experience in clinical and forensic assessments, including the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule- Second Edition (ADOS-2) and Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI–R).
Carol Stott
Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol), Chartered Scientist (CSci), and a member of the British Psychological Society. Carol trained in administration and coding in the ADOS and ADI-R to Research Reliability at the University of Cambridge in 1999. Following accreditation, Carol used both instruments in research projects at the University of Cambridge Department of Psychiatry over several years. In 2004, Carol trained at the University of Michigan Autism & Communication Disorders Center (UMACC) as an ADOS and ADI-R trainer. Since that time she has delivered ADOS and ADI-R training regularly in the UK and overseas.
