With over 57 million articles and records, the discovery plattform ScienceOpen places Hogrefe’s publications in a broader research framework that users technology to enhance the discoverability of this research. ScienceOpen and Hogrefe Publishing Group hope this cooperation will increase the scientific and social impact of research in psychology, psychiatry, health science and health care.
ScienceOpen is a plattform where scientists can research literature published by wide range of publishers. Features such as linked references and statistics about online citations, Altmetric™ scores, user numbers, user ratings, and shares provide contextual information to the scientific community. Authors can also add a lay summary and images to improve discoverability. Users can also comment on articles, or add recommendations and post-publication peer reviews.
ScienceOpen is supported by Hogrefe and is provided to scientists free of charge. Hogrefe’s collection of open access articles “Hogrefe OpenMind” has been indexed on ScienceOpen since 2017. 2019 we added a large part of our backlist, organized in thematic collections as well as by journal, and these collections will be updated continuously as new articles are published.
Hogrefe’s new collections on ScienceOpen are topically organized and feature:
• ‘Hogrefe Psychology’ in German and English languages,
• ‘Hogrefe Medicine’ in German and English languages,
• ‘Vasa - European Journal of Vascular Medicine’ in English,
• ‘Human Resources and Assessment’ in English,
• ‘Kindheit, Jugend und Entwicklung’; (‘Childhood, Youth, and Development’) in German,
• and all German-language journals on the subject ‘Hogrefe Pflege’ (‘Hogrefe Nursing’).
