Product Description

The Achievement Motivation Inventory (AMI) is a personality inventory designed to measure a broad construct of work-related achievement motivation. The AMI differentiates between seventeen dimensions or “achievement orientations” using 170 items on a 7-point-Likert scale. In addition to traditional scales such as Confidence in Success, Flexibility and Persistence, relevant social motives are integrated and measured by scales like Dominance and Status Orientation. Each of the seventeen scales has ten items which are written for use in a work context. Dimension specific scores are derived as well as an overall score.
