The Winter Wordsearch Competition

We are running a series of Winter Wordsearch competitions from our social media accounts, starting from December 1, 2021. To check out our competitions, head to either of our social media pages:

One wordsearch will be posted each week (4 in total). The words are a mystery, but in each case there are 6 words related to the respective book, and you need to find all 6 of them in the wordsearch for your chance to win. You can participate at any time for any of the wordsearches before the prize draw on January 3, 2022. Once you’ve found the answers, follow the steps below to enter the prize draw to win one of our prizes!
To participate in the prize draw to win a free eBook, the participant must:

1. Comment the 6 correct answers to the specific Twitter or LinkedIn posts (participants can enter multiple draws)
2. Follow Hogrefe Publishing on Twitter or LinkedIn

Competition Terms and Conditions

1. The prize draws for entries into the competition will be held on January 3, 2022.
2. The winners will be informed on or shortly after January 3, 2022, via the Twitter/LinkedIn media channels of Hogrefe Publishing.
3. The competition is open to all persons aged 18 years or over.
4. The prizes will be distributed per email or via download.
5. The prize is as stated and no cash alternatives will be offered. The prizes are non-transferable.
6. Winners will be chosen randomly from all entries received where the participants fulfilled the conditions for entry in the competition. Only one entry will be accepted per person per wordsearch.
7. The winners will be notified via Twitter/LinkedIn by private message by Hogrefe Publishing and will be requested to reply to the message over the social media or to email (media(at)hogrefe.com) with their complete and correct personal details (full name, email, and postal address) within 3 days of the announcement of the winner.
8. Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties or used for promotion purposes. Participants have a right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data transferability, which they can request in writing at the contact information for Hogrefe given above. After revoking consent, the personal data of the participant that has been collected and stored will be immediately deleted. See also our Privacy Policies.
9. If the winner does not respond within the time limit indicated in paragraph 7, then any entitlement to the prize will be lost.
10. Any recourse to courts of law is excluded.
11. Hogrefe Publishing reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition without notice and without stating the reasons, and in particular in the case of any event that may disturb or prevent the planned completion of the competition.
12. Employees of the Hogrefe group and their close family members are excluded from the competition.
13. By entering the competition, the participant is indicating his or her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
